I NEED BOOK TWO (edit: it’s out now!!!)
Six crimson cranes definitely surprised me
the beginning was great and very fun, but then things started to slow and I was wondering where the plot was leading. I felt like not much was happening in the middle, but the ending made up for it. The story picked up and the ending was GREAT. Shiori is amazing I love her (also her and Takkan, adorable)
Such a fun and cute read! It was very fairytale-like and I adored the depth of asian culture! Everything from food to folklore, it was truly magical
And the characters!!! Written sooo well I loved the depth and unexpected twists and turns! Character arcs were done so well I’m so excited to read book 2!
