Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

4.0

Overall I did enjoy Hush, Hush more than I thought I would. I was disappointed the love story was lacking more action, but in the end I feel it was okay that the author did not rush Patch and Nora falling in love. It was obvious the author is riding off of the Twilight good girl meets dangerous, bad boy, but she did not over do it. I feel the story was rushed and certain parts of the plot needed to be explained more. Action scenes were part of the plot I feel should have been expanded and a little more thought out. I do not understand why Nora's mom and dad storyline received so much attention because it confused me more than anything. I enjoyed Nora being a strong character, but again I feel the author should have risked making the story longer to explain her personality and decisions more. Patch was a character I loved. I wish Nora would have hurried up and made up her mind instead of making me dizzy by going back and forth so much. I enjoyed Vee a lot and I hope Nora's friendship with her lasts.
