What an interesting book, poetic at times and with some really relatable reactions to loss and grief, even some of the more incoherent passages from the crow reminded me of the contents of my head during times like this.
I have realised recently that because of my love of fiction I always look for a narrative, and with books like this, whilst there is one present, letting go of the need of it and just following the path of the words and imagery made me connect to the book a lot more, then the few moments of felt more like linear narrative came as a pleasant surprise, like seasoning rather than a required ingredient.
