This was my favorite of the trilogy, and a perfect end to the series. The undertaking was massive with a huge scope spanning decades, a large cast of characters, and the whole world involved. I felt like I lived and grew with the characters and I truly love the Kaul family. It was impressive how Lee was able to keep me so hooked with a plot that stretched out so far; I really couldn’t put it down. I still feel that the writing wasn’t as strong as the story which is what keeps it at a 4 for me, but it’s a strong recommend if you like the sound of a politics-heavy, large-scope story.
