I read Normal People and Conversations with Friends between the ages of 20-23 and decided I didn’t like Sally Rooney and was done reading her books.
That being said I really loved everything about this, and was probably wrong about Sally Rooney all along, oops!
I suppose I’m in an era where reading about all the different ways we can love and hurt one another is a lot more interesting than it once was. Also, I would describe this as a surprisingly sexy book.
