The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

3.0

I can only describe this as like reading a 13 year old girls diary. The writing isn't brilliant, but I flew through this wanting to know what chaos was coming next. It was interesting hearing her side in all this, and it's still wild to believe a fully grown adult woman was deemed capable of recording music/performing/making TV appearances, but not of making daily decisions about her life.

I enjoyed listening back to/watching her music videos as I was moving through the timeline, and I enjoyed Michelle Williams as the audiobook narrator though - bit of Dawsons Creek nostalgia in there!

If there was one key takeaway message from this book, it is choose your own lawyer.
