✨ARC Review ✨
Worth the Hurt by Ashley Dranguet (358 pages)

Parts I Liked:
The MCs' challenges felt so raw. Their experiences are meaningful.
It got really angsty, and I love angst.
Well-written characters. MCs and side characters.

Parts That Were Not For Me:
Things were a bit one-sided in my perspective, for more than half of the book.
The main conflict was dragged a bit too much for me.
The smut did not land with me because of the disconnect.

✨Overall Thoughts and Ratings✨
⭐⭐⭐.50
My main issue was how much the conflict was dragged. It was not miscommunication, it was withholding. It felt like stuff was withheld to prolong the book. The set up was that they'd focus on their growth and their relationship, but that did not happen because so much was kept secret, and that's what threw me off. There was a lot of avoiding the issue at hand when both characters were capable of sharing their concerns. Don't give up though! We get some great closure.

🌶️🌶️🌶️:
It was spicy. Paxton is so sexy and cute at the same time! But it was done a bit too much for me. I guess I wanted them to talk first then get to doing the devil's tango as much as they did. Again, personal opinions!

This was a great read. Emotional with a little bit of humor! Release date is November 30th! Thank you to the author and @theauthor.agency for this ARC 🧡
