I don't enjoy romance, and fantasy books aren't my favorite but a lot of my friends recommended I read this book. I didn't think I would like it, and for first two thirds of the book, I really didn't care about any of the characters and just wanted the story to be done so I could move on with my life. It was very predictable and boring.
It felt like I was reliving my high school days as a Twilight fan.

But then -minor spoiler-

dragons

are mentioned. And I realized this series is not a copy cat of Twilight. I could not finish the last third of this book fast enough so I could move on to the second book of the series!
