kasperin 's review for:
Eliza and Her Monsters
by Francesca Zappia
Usually I'm not in the unpopular opinion side, but this book changed that.
Mostly I didn't like Eliza. She was so apathetic and had such a general bad mood throughout all the book! It was really annoying and frustrating. And I don't think that it was because of her anxiety, she just didn't want help. She complained that her parents didn't care and didn't understand about her comic, but everytime they asked her about it, she would yell at them.

Now, what I did like was the geek representation: fanart, fanfiction, cosplay, fandom craziness! Specially the online friends parts! I have really good online friends and it's so hard to explain that you CAN be friends with someone this way!

I'll rate this book later, when it's not 5 in the morning

Broken people don’t hide from their monsters. Broken people let themselves be eaten.
