I enjoyed this book as a highly dramatic page turner with a creative storyline but found the writing style irritating (why must Nori always bite, chew or—the worst—nip her lip?!) and the character development inadequate. It feels wrong to say this as someone who has written zero novels but the writing and storyline just felt immature to me. That said, if this author writes more I will certainly check it out.
