Okey I cave, this book is good. I wasn't really sold on it in the beginning but once it picked up (and I found an audio version) it was a smooth ride. I'm not even gonna try to picture if it's a correct book or combats racism in any way, I just think it's pretty fun fast read with a thought and a good ending. I liked the main character and I was genuinely surprised by the twists, because I didn't know the story. The sad parts hit hard. This makes me want to try more American classics, cause most of them are gold.
