Sharpe's Escape: The Bussaco Campaign, 1810 by Bernard Cornwell

4.0

As always, Cornwell's story is captivating. It is both a character study and a glimpse into the Napoleonic Wars history. In this book Sharpe shows his ruff side but also comes out as quite a ladies man. There are, of course, adventures and fighting aplenty.
