 Fun, Adventurous, classic.

There’s nothing to be said about Treasure Island that hasn’t been said a thousand times before. Cultural osmosis has probably already taught you everything there is to know about this book, but it’s still a fun read.

Many modern ideas of swashbuckling pirates were built on the foundations laid down by Treasure Island. This means that modern readers won’t be surprised when a pirate acts greedy or commits a betrayal. You will probably be able to predict the entire plot right from the moment the book starts. However, the adventure is still exciting and the characters have some great banter.

If you are an audiobook user, you could easily listen to this whilst doing other tasks without much risk of missing out on anything.
