I cannot separate my evaluation of the book from the narration done by Juanita McMahon. She did an exceptional job, made fantastic voice, sang, did sound effects, made me laugh out loud. The book itself is beautiful: very slow, moving, tender, evocative. I will certainly be reading more from this author.
