Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson

2.0

Chelsea is something of a spunky-wacky-outfit-wearing failed actress who is working as a personal assistant. Mark Bressler is the increasingly difficult injured hockey star who apparently needs baby-sitting from someone who has no qualifications other than being able to drive him around and dreaming of her breast reduction surgery.
The set up and conflict are pretty mediocre, so what is left are the characters. Mark grumpy at first, but did grow on me. Chelsea was almost a deal breaker though. She seems to only worry about what designer outfit she is going to wear everyday and her acting dreams were those of a starstruck 13 year old girl. Her best asset is being able to fake a smile and act like she is "helping" Mark. Also, the over-sexualization of the heroine in romance novels is so bizarre.
