I had a feeling i wasn’t going to love this book cause I don’t necessarily love Qui-Gon Jinn and Dooku like they’re fine but I don’t love them that much (or as much as I love Ani hahaha).
Anyways, considering this is a book about people I’m either quite indifferent about or don’t know anything about and about a planet I’ve never heard of, it wasnt bad! The actual plot was eh, but I mean the Star Wars audiobooks are just really cool in general (who doesn’t love to hear the Star Wars theme in the background).
Speaking of the audiobook, the narrator did an AMAZING job. His accents when he voiced Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were SO good like he sounded IDENTICAL to Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor it was kind of freaky. That moved it up from 3 stars to 3.5.
Totally just a side note, but all the talking about prophecies and the chosen one sort of got me all confused and I thought I knew everything about that, but then it hit me: omg Ari are you thinking of Harry Potter?? So now idk if what I’m remembering about the prophecy/chosen one is from Star Wars or Harry Potter which actually makes me excited to keep reading the books/watching the movies to learn more about that.
Long story short: if you like Qui-Gon Jinn and Dooku and Obi-Wan you should read it! But for someone who’s not as interested in these characters, it was just ok/filler.
