This setting is really cool and the options for character creation are great. I've yet to actually play, so it remains to be seen how well it works in practice, but it seems like it should be good. The level of complexity is, I think, probably less than it appears. The depth of the character creation process does seem a bit intimidating at first, but the rules for actually playing are consistent and relatively simple. I'm particularly interested to see how the combat system plays out; it sounds very good on paper, but that's no guarantee.
