Bad Cruz by L.J. Shen

3.0

Bad Cruz is full of fun banter, humor, and a second chance at love. It's also got some moments that will annoy and frustrate the heck out of you. Sure, they started off as enemies but details. I was here for all the chaos.

In this, you will meet Cruz and Tennessee. Now these two definitely clashed and it eventually led to great tension and chemistry. I just wasn't in love with these two characters for the entire book. Cruz would be such a hypocrite that I just wanted to backhand him sometimes. Then there was Tennessee who needs to grow a backbone. Hot damn.

Besides being frustrated, or annoyed, with these two their relationship was also messy. Super messy and so hard to look away from. With the bad, though, we get the good because I absolutely love great banter. I just wished that I liked these two from start to finish.

Other than that, the drama also annoyed me. Maybe it's because these two would make such horrible decisions with lame justifications. Or maybe, just maybe, it's me and it's a reader error or something. Either way, this book had its ups and downs.

In the end, it was okay but not my favorite of LJ's.
