The Jetsetters by Amanda Eyre Ward
4.0
Zipped through this one to find out what the heck happened. I'm not sure what I expected from it, but it wasn't what I got--it's pretty dark, though there are certainly funny parts as well. Addiction, coming out, depression, suicide, ageing. . . they all play a part. Then add in FAMILY in close proximity and boom: you've got it. Still, I came to care about the various family members, and after nearly quitting about 1/3 through when things just felt too bleak, I got going and ended up finishing it after our New Year's fire pit gathering for my last book of 2020!
Delicately recommended for those who don't mind a somewhat dark family story. Reminded me a bit of The Family Fang, I guess.
