*Shrug* I loved the first chapter....it went a bit downhill for me after that. I also loved the PowerPoint chapter, gimmicky or not, although I don't think Jennifer Egan shouldn't be selling this as a ebook when you can't actually read that chapter on an eReader. I had to go find it in a bookstore to read it - annoying!
I would recommend this to other people, but it wasn't for me....I found it depressing as hell. Also I didn't really care about any of the characters, I found myself repeatedly having to look back to figure out who each chapter was talking about. And the weird futuristic chapter at the end was ultra doofy. Perhaps I'm not hip enough for this book? Some of the writing was really on point, but overall this didn't thrill me.
