Never Have I Ever by S.L. Scott
2.0
This story had a lot of potential but it truly fell flat for me.
The one night stand with a rockstar, instant love and then BAM - a life altering car accident resulting in amnesia & resentment
The chemistry was there. The love, the admiration, etc.
The writing was really hard to handle. The fact that most of the time, it was hard for me to determine WHO was speaking really made this difficult to read. The dialog didn't go back/forth like usual. Often times both MC's had dialog in the same paragraph. Like
"It's Sunday morning" I said to her. Blah blah inner monologuing, thoughts, walking forward. "Sure is"
There were way too many times the standard line breaks were missing.
Alot of the book dragged on a lot.
I got bored around the 65% mark.
I was mad at Laird for mistreating her.
Overall it missed the mark
