The Supper Club Murders
by Victoria Dowd
Fun and murder go hand in hand in this third book of the series.
My third 5 stars for Victoria Dowd for making me laugh out loud with her books. Thank you!
Who can say what goes on behind closed doors?
Ursula and Pandora Smart are invited by Lord and Lady Black to stay at Black Towers, their castle on Dartmoor.
They think they are all going on a fun holiday, little suspecting that the serene village of Greystone is filled with all manner of lurking dangers, impossible to discern in the darkness.
Witches, magicians, cannon fire and drunken lords in the iron maiden. They certainly know how to party in Greystone.
Soon the village will be dubbed the Village of the Damned and the castle, the Tower of Death, as at the stroke of midnight, the Lord will have his head caved in with a cannonball and a witch will be drowned using a ducking stool.
