Oblivion by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Oh boy, what a giant arse this boy could be. Rude, cruel, teasing and self-centered, he comes right of of the door and throws the massive muck pile at the human just for being human. All humans can't be bad right ? He has history whispering in his ear, "they're all bad, a danger to his kind" So he'll just keep up the muck tossing and that'll keep her nasty human-ness away. Too bad his sister picked the human to be her new BFF. Finally, there is the need he feels to find out more about her, it's just irritating and he can't stop himself.
Katy, the human is pissed. Why is that gorgeous guy suck an epic jerk ? His sister is so nice, and bit off but really nice. She just keeps falling into the trap of his little game with his sister. She really can't figure this family out.
I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. I'm not a fan of prequels, or any back story normally. I already know what happens so lets move on. Deamon, was very interesting. He starts out very raw, damaged and attacking out, then he starts to grow a heart almost like the Grinch. It was wonderful to see him find some happiness, see his innocent mistakes and his doubts to explain his ugliness towards Katy. If you're a Deamon fan I think you'll enjoy seeing inside his complicated head.
