I'm still thinking about this book and the ending. This book is a coming-of-age story and is narrated by Poppy. All she knows is that her parents are constantly on the run her mother barely leaves the houses they live in, they use fake names, and when someone gets too close they leave usually without any belongings. It seems like her mom's recognizable but they're not giving any clues. Until Poppy does a DNA test. I could not put this book down. I tried looking for spoilers and could not find them anywhere. I didn't figure out why her parents were on the run. The ending had me in tears. I felt for Poppy and honestly wanted to give her a hug and just hold her throughout the story it was written so beautifully.
