Speak: The Graphic Novel

This was a brilliant way to tell the story of Speak. Art is important and healing to the main character, and using a graphic novel format to show the same story of the original novel works very well. The art is direct and just incredibly well done, and this version is even more emotional than the original because of the images here. Definitely a difficult read, but I'd recommend it to anyone who feels like they can handle it. I am quite glad that Laurie Halse Anderson choose to work with an illustrator to create this.
