Why can't you do half stars?..... 3.5 Stars!!!
This was a very cool and beautiful addition to the original series but it also left me with even more questions. Does Cassie get therapy? Does Dean to pass the academy? Why is Laurel at the Naturals home base but she lives with Nonna?
I don't know, It was a good novella stand alone but to use it as a wrap up left a lot of holes. I loved the mini peeks into everyone's back stories throughout the novella but I'm peeved with no solid background for Lia. She's such a complex character and one of my favorites but she's supposed to be secretive and keep everyone at arms length which makes sense as to why we don't see her backstory.
It was kinda sad that all the original naturals weren't together and the group was split, but I get it because It was a plot point. I was expecting more and was very underwhelmed. I love these characters and in my head they're doing the best they've ever done.
