I listened to the audiobook while packing, have no regrets, and will read the next book. AND I frequently found myself wishing that this book could be both fun and well-written. I'm not sure if I want an editor, or an author who is more careful with world-building, or someone with more experience writing series, or maybe it's some other skill set entirely. I was a little bit of an armchair critic while reading Iron Flame, but I couldn't fight the armchair critic impulse with Onyx Storm.
