Class is Not Dismissed! by Gitty Daneshvari

3.0

An enjoyable sequel to School of Fear, Daneshvari picks the story up as the children return for round two at the school of fear, boasting of their success in the outside world. Theo has stopped making hourly updates on his family members, Madeline no longer wears a veil and belt of repellents, Lulu no longer fears to enter elevators or go into small lavatories and Garrison has become a total surfer! They all claim to be completely cured...but are they?

This book not only has the continuing adventures of the phobic four, but adds a new character to the mix, Hyacinth, or should I say two new characters, Hyacinth and her pet ferret, Celery. HyHy as she prefers to be called, is afraid of being alone. She immediately annoys the rest of the cast with her clinginess, but they have little time to get to the bottom of her fears before the entire school and their futures come into danger.

A burgler has been prowling the house, stealing precious wiggs from Mrs. Wellington. Could the fate of the school rest on that creepy forest dweller's shoulders? Will the kids be able to convince Abernathy to return from his forest retreat to save the school?

The sequel is another wacky adventure, with quirky, witty writing and chuckle-inducing twists and turns along the way. It also left room for another sequel?
