4.5

Just like it’s predecessor, The Heir Affair was a lighthearted, fun, quick read. Unlike The Royal We however, this one had many unexpected plot twists, having the reader questioning what they actually knew about the lovable characters from the first book. The relationships between characters are ever changing, with Eleanor’s development being the most surprising. Written much like the first, the reader is immersed in a way that makes them feel as if they’re in the room, making it all but impossible to do anything but finish the book in a day. I wish this series could go on and on.
