I feel like I was gaslit by this book the entire time. Although this was a haunted house horror mystery at its very core it was about domestic violence and taking back your strength. The main character was a very unreliable narrator. After some things were revealed I very much disliked her for her passivity and what she put her daughter through. In the end it all comes together and has a quirky fun conclusion.
Graphic: Domestic abuse, Mental illness, and Panic attacks/disorders
Moderate: Alcoholism, Animal death, and Gore
