The Courage to be Happy by Fumitake Koga, Ichiro Kishimi
3.0
hopeful informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

I really enjoyed the first book, but didn’t love this one. Perhaps it’s simply that I’m a little younger, and actually as an educator have thought about these things more now, but I didn’t find much of this content revelatory. I still enjoy the writing style and layout of these books, but I did find myself distracted a lot whilst reading it - as it wasn’t super engaging for me. But I do note that the afterword of the writers frames this as a more practical application of the first book, which does make sense. Always a good reminder though to seek out new knowledge and embrace others, whilst constantly reflecting on my own motivations.
