A big positive I can say for this book is how the BDSM lifestyle is shown and described. It’s not shown as just aggressive s*x and that’s it. They talk about the whole deal of the importance of consent and the trust that is needed between the two parties, not just a random person off the street who has no idea what this lifestyle is like. So I really enjoyed the relationship between Ally & Lisa with how they take things slow and talk everything out. I just like this healthy portrayal of it as oppose to this dark deep s*x world that is extremely intimidating and you only have to be crazy to think of trying it.
The art style is of course another plus, these characters just look so beautiful and it’s just pleasing to look at and read. I’m not sure how quick I’ll return to this series to complete it but I know it’ll happen in the future.
