Did I *enjoy* this book? No. Was it an incredibly well written, gripping memoir? Yes. I was continually impressed with Westover's ability to make lemonade out of an infinite amount of lemons, but was deeply saddened and made immensely uncomfortable by said lemons.
It was fascinating and sickening, but easily a 5-star book.
