The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.

I just didn't care that much about the characters or the plot. Then I read just one too many ick lines about women/girls and I've decided to stop. And why so many unecessary mentions of "relantionships" with children. Ugh. 

Also, it feels a bit over written. You aren't Victor Hugo, stop pretending to be. 

I started reading this as part of my project to read every book mentioned in The Starless Sea, but I'm going to have to accept that just because you love someone's book, it doesn't mean you'll love every book they love.
