I loved these characters and the way Atkinson portrays a seedy London with a wry wit. I admit I had to read it twice to get to know all the characters well enough and catch all the nuances and foreshadowing. After the second read, I'm enchanted with this story, and I'll miss the characters! Maybe I'll have to read it a third time
