I really liked the tone the book started out with and overall like the author's writing style.
For being a "horror" book I never really found the book scary at all. There are some grotesque imagery but the way it is presented almost makes you laugh as much as revolt.
I truly understand the pull a toxic relationship can have but for how deep Erin was in it I don't feel we got enough backstory to really explain *why*.

lie to the police, kill 30 people, and destroy millions in property and write not getting prison time off as "white privilege"? I think even white privilege has it's breaking points. It felt like a too clean way to summarize the book. She gets a happy ending counseling other people who have drug issues after having been addicted to a drugfor 1.5 months and killing 30? ...wild
