In this book, Katrina Shah and Evan Kristof's worlds collide in a tale of unexpected romance amidst the chaos of fame. Although Katrina desires a life away from the public eye, Evan seeks solace from the glitz of Hollywood. Their story unfolds with a blend of cultural festivities and personal dilemmas, creating a story that engages and reflects upon the intricacies of celebrity life. However, I found the book's portrayal of Indian culture superficial and the character inconsistencies unrealistic. The romance, meant to be the book's focal point, often felt contrived and needed more depth. Despite these shortcomings, the novel does offer moments of entertainment and a glimpse into the complexities of life under the spotlight.
