This collection of short stories is nothing short of amazing.  Babalola combines timeless romance with contemporary wit, bringing these myths right into the 21st century. I adore how the collection of short stories steered away from the more well-known myths and instead focused on modernising tales from mythologies such as Chinese, Yoruba, Ashanti, and Persian. The stories have moments of extreme humour, sensuality, colour, and romance. A delightful book that is ideal for escape.
