SAVE ME SEXY COWBOY LUKE BROOKS....SAVE ME.... SAVE ME SEXY COWBOY

yeah i'm in my cowboy romance era like i ate this shit UPPPPPPPPPPP luke brooks is such a soft filthy man and i want him very badly please lord just one blessing of this man irl and i will never open my mouth to complain again -- and you KNOW how much i love to complain.

second clementine i've read this year that i would die for btw. like i love her. that's my sister. and her and teddy are so precious -- i'm assuming teddy and gus's book will be the third book after wes and ada's and i CANNOT wait (for either) but i know i'm gonna eat the single parent book UPPPPPPP.

anyway let's get serious: i love the dynamic between every character, especially the family aspect. i love how open they are about their support and how their love feels unconditional. supporting wes's dream to open the guest barn even though gus had always been reluctant to it, supporting emmy without question when she said she didn't want to race anymore, etc. i love a book with a healthy family dynamic and this one DELIVERS.

i love how it touches on emmy loving her mother but not missing her the way her brothers do because she didn't know her, but it doesn't take away the grief she feels when she thinks of her mom. grief is such a personal thing - so personal, to me, that sometimes it feels like you're doing it wrong. but i love moments like these in books where, however you choose to handle grief, it's all a valid form.

i just want to wrap the ryder boys, teddy, emmy and luke up into me and shield them from anything bad ever happening to them ever again. lyla sage u are a wizard. another one for sam *blows a kiss to DC* love ya
