We are back in Virgin River and this book starts where Temptation Ridge left off. Paradise Valley is chock filled with some of our favourite townies, especially Ricky who is back from Iraq, a lot sooner than anticipated.

We also meet Dan Bradey, whose past is a little more than shady. He has decided to make Virgin River his home as he works on building a new and better life for himself. Finally, our new town doc seems to have rekindled his connection with a one night stand... only to find that the night had a most lasting impression on both of them and in a big way.

As these three men work on rebuilding their lives, they are surrounded by the towns folk of Virgin River. I have said it before, and I will say it again. I just love the quaint town that Robyn Carr has created. These characters have substance, background and personality. They are relatable. And the stories are just NICE.
