Shelly has lived her life on the ocean. Her magic has never come forward despite the best tutors her father can find. She wants to steal away aboard a ship to find her father stuck in the north. Her plans are destroyed by the self entitled, spoilt Prince Leander who finally is making the journey to the Isles of the Gods to make the family sacrifice.
I loved everything about Isles. Amie always does great world building and then creates perfect characters to place in them. Shelly and Leander have great banter and such rich character development you can’t help but love them. I can’t wait to see where Isles 2 goes after THAT ending.
