My favourite out of the three I read till now! It was masterfully written, and as always the narrator was phenomenal. Will carry on with the series for sure! 

Cried when Ragna was murdered, cried when Sevro “died” (the betrayal and relief I felt when sevro wasn’t actually dead though, I was so close to abandoning the book from grief but carried on just because I was driving and couldn’t change it to another audiobook) loved the getting to glimpse the family dynamics, loved the thriving friendships, loved how beautifully human it was, the grief, the rejoicing, the self persevation vs the common good, the politics, the shock value, the somber and quiet reflections. And the ending was a full circle moment, the hopeful yet realistic feeling of not being there yet politically and socially
