Dragon Slayer by Isabella Carter

3.0

From reading reviews I knew that this would only be an average book, but it has lots of the tropes I like in a book, so I got it anyway. And I was pretty much spot-on for my expectations. It's a pretty middle-of-the-road fantasy novel with some dragons, a prince, a plot to destroy the world, and magic jewelry. I'd complain that the character who was allegedly super-smart with strategy turned out to be oblivious to even the most simple of things relating to the plot, but if he hadn't been, there wouldn't have been much of a plot, so whatever.

Basically, I enjoyed it for what it was, but don't expect too much if you read it.
