This book was a true labor of love. I wanted to like it, love it even. It had everything I like in a story. Dark Academia, magic, tough female protagonist, written by the amazing leigh bardugo. It just felt like it dragged on forever and it made me not as excited when it got to the 'good parts'. Took me 9 months to finish because I had to take a break and read other books.
