I'll admit I was skeptical and a bit hesitant to read this particular volume since I knew the group was reaching Vinland and would have interactions with the natives. Based on some older references (and the anime) I wasn't sure how accurate it would be, but I should have given Yukimura more credit. He consulted with experts to get things as accurate as he could to the Mi'kmaq culture, including the use of native language. It made the volume more fun and interesting to read, and now it's just a matter of waiting for the inevitable axe to fall.
