The Girl Before by JP Delaney

So this book has mixed reviews but I absolutely devoured it within 24 hours. I read the book as it was on the pages, compulsively, obssessively and on tenderhooks.

I enjoyed the different prospectives, I related with Jane more, her story captivated me at the utter loss she was feeling and was far more relateable to me anyway. Emma, especially as the story played out didn't grasp me. She was an entitled, attention seeking, horrible woman. She was playing everyone far more than Edward. I do wonder if she had some kind of multiple personality disorder.

Edward, actually felt sorry for. He also had suffered insurmountable loss and as a concequence demanded absolute control from all aspects of his life and transferred that onto the tenants of his glory"one folgate street"
