Trying to branch out into classics and thought this would be a good place to start. I enjoyed the story and can see why this is viewed as the original love story; the development of Darcy and Elizabeth’s love was cute (although talk about slow burn omd) but my main issue with the whole business is the language - I find it so hard to read and follow but I guess that comes with time. It was made a lot easier by having the audiobook playing in the background at the same time (thank you BBC Sounds) but that did make this feel like a bit of a slog at times
