Okay let's unpack. Loved this book sm. Definitely want to read more of Murakami's work. I think his writing style and how he describes the surrounding is so real. I felt like i was there in Japan with the characters. He really can paint a beautiful picture. Including music also gives a major difference to the scenery.
Now on the book itself. The plotline was so good, it captured the line between death and being alive so well i think. It gave me a lot to think about tbh.
BUT mannn i get you like boobs can we move on from that?? also the sex scenes felt so awkward and unnecessary sometimes. Like they felt like he didn't want to write them somehow. They felt really forced, could've been good without them aswell.
