I certainly enjoyed this book but I think I did myself a disservice by waiting too long to read it after finishing the one before it! I didn’t remember a whole lot about what was happening outside of major events and was too lazy to watch or read an in depth recap. SO, I was a little lost getting started but eventually got back into the groove of things.

Once again, I much prefer to read about Hades from his own POV. His character has so much more depth and emotion that way. (I found myself getting irritated with him when reading from Persephone’s POV).

As usual, Hermes and his sassy snarky self is one of favorite parts of this series.

This book definitely has no shortage of spicy scenes (and with the addition of Dionysus and Ariadne’s budding romance as well).

This ended on a cliffhanger so I’ll surely be picking up the next (and final) book very soon!!
