adult, more intellectual Twilight is a great analogy for this one, (minus the love triangle). this author has to be so dedicated and smart to have all this literature and science and history so imbedded in this, it’s kind of amazing! I love this story, though like I said before can we PLEASE get some more info on the demons? I hope book 2 and beyond cover that ground. Overall, I really really loved this - slow burn romance, fantasy, literature/science/history, magic. sooo good
